This is more than a workshop—it’s a heart-opening journey through sacred sound led by devoted Kirtan leader Jane Slotnik. Rooted in the ancient practice of call-and-response chanting, Kirtan uses the repetitive chanting of the same sounds to create a hypnotic effect on the mind. This releases stress, elevates consciousness, and brings us into a state of deep focus and presence.

As we chant, we raise our energetic frequency, release negativity, and become more attuned to the world within and around us—opening the door to powerful intuitive awareness.

Whether you're singing or simply listening, this shared musical experience offers a path to peace, joy, and connection.

No musical experience is needed—chants are simple, phonetic, and easy to follow.

Chairs and yoga mats will be available for your comfort; just bring yourself and an open heart. Come as you are, and let the music guide you home.

Jane Slotnik

Jane Slotnik is a devoted Kirtan leader whose path began as a special education teacher seeking peace through meditation. A spontaneous invitation to a Kirtan opened her heart to the healing power of sacred sound. Though she started quietly in the back row, the experience moved her deeply, inspiring her to learn harmonium and eventually lead Kirtans herself. Now, Jane shares this soul-nourishing practice in yoga studios, wellness centers, and retreats, inviting others to find joy, connection, and inner stillness through chanting.
